Can’t see replies to any post except on mobile, mobile crashed in an idiotic way editing a reply
that logged me out of kinja. This is fun. This is fine.

Oh, there the reply buttons are. On my own post, suddenly.
Of course,
yesterday before I couldn’t see the reply buttons, it was doing the “pile of mobile icons at 800%” clever prank. You do you, kinja.

That’s so you can post anything you want and not suffer the wrath of an outraged internet commentariat. It’s a new Kinja+ feature. You’ll be billed after your trial period ends.
You’re welcome.

I can still see replies and reply buttons on my end, at least on Chrome/Mac.

I’ve stopped using any KINJA sites on any phone... those background ads-and-spurious-videos are blowing through my 12 GB of 4G data in a day. Not. Worth. It.

I’ve been seeing this issue where replies don't show up on posts
on desktop for a long time. Mostly it seems like there's some kind of bumfuckery related to Kinja not quite working properly when external JS sources needed to render the replies get cached by the browser and/or CDN. Usually I can get it to render properly by force-refreshing the page (hold Shift down while clicking on the Reload button on the toolbar).

Ouch, isn’t there a way to block this crap and go in to effect a personal touch on what remains? I see why data gets throttled after reading your concerns.

Post login and pass so we can test your account across multiple machines.

It took me awhile to figure out the Kinja sites were the cause, but I’ve had cases HOURS after browsing one of of them where my phone audio started blaring a Colgate-Palmolive soap ad of some sort.
I use AdBlockers on my laptop, and had been reluctant to do so on the phones after reading about some “bad actor, black hat ” ad-blocking phone software. I may need to re-visit.
It was just a pisser last week, since I was in a rural area where it would have been damn handy to have some fast data— and instead I got the Dreaded ATT Service Message that I was throttled. Ugh.
